37th Annual Linguistics Spring Colloquium
“Language Across the Disciplines”

About the Colloquium:
The colloquium invites authors to submit original research on topics related to linguistics and language. We encourage research focused on (i) structural aspects of language (ii) cultural aspects of language (iii) and language development and evolution across disciplines. Nevertheless, we welcome papers from a variety of theoretical approaches within linguistics as well as interdisciplinary submissions including but not limited to: psychology, linguistic anthropology, pedagogy, sociology, language policy, philosophy of language, and language attitudes and ideology.
Deadline and Proposal Guidelines:
Please submit an abstract of up to 300 words, double-spaced, 12pt font, and suitable for a 30 minute presentation, by Sunday, February 16, 2014 to email@example.com and include “Linguistics: Conference Abstract” in the subject line. A second page may be used for examples and references. Do not include any personal information on the same page as the abstract, but instead please provide a cover page that includes the title of the presentation, the name of the participant, affiliation and email address.
